In the series of artworks “Rethinking Botany” I practiced a new approach to depicting plants – a transition from static to movement, from fixing details – to creating a complete living thing in a growth process and its’ transformation through the life cycle.
Size of the paper: 39x27cm / Size of the painting: 38,4×26,3cm.
Year of creation: 2024.
Materials: watercolor, colored pencils and oil pastels on fine art paper 300g/m2 (50% cotton).
The surface of the painting is coated with a protective fixative that gives a slight sheen and depth to the artwork, and protects the used art materials from smearing.
The painting is signed from the front and from the back.
Due to different monitor calibrations, please note that colors may vary slightly from monitor to original.

Packaging
The artwork is packed in a plastic bag with a protective strip of tracing paper inside. Then it is being put between two layers of hard, thick cardboard and in an envelope with a bubble air layer for the absolute safety of your order.
A picture frame and a passepartout are not provided.
